explore the eastern church, receive blessings from his beatitude and meet the Living Stones, the Palestinian Christians who have lived in the land since the earliest days of the church.  Wether you are here to participate in the celebrations of Christmas or join us for Easter week. We can make special arrangments

such as fasting foods at hotels, arranging priests permissions to serve at Liturgy and much more.

Day 1:

Arrival in Tel Aviv, met and assist at the airport. Drive north to Nazareth to Golden Crown Hotel to rest. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.


Day 2:Nazareth and Tabor

Travel to Cana where Jesus performed His first miracle of turning water into wine at Cana’s wedding. On to Nazareth to visit the church of Annunciation, the Carpentry and House of Joseph, the Synagogue and Mary’s Well. Continue to visit Mt. Tabor, the site of Jesus’ transfiguration. After that, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.


Day 3:Banias, Acre & Haifa

(Good hiking or walking shoes advisable)
Early morning start heading to Banias Nature Reserve. Visit the reserve and walk the beautiful track which might be too strenuous for some, but still very enjoyable. Finish the track at the waterfall. Continue to Acre for lunch. After lunch visit the Old City and the Old Port. After Acre, drive to Haifa to visit the Bahai Temple. Return to your hotel in Nazareth for dinner and overnight.


Day 4: Sea of Galilee and Tiberias

Full day journey starts with a visit to Tabgha where Jesus performed the miracle of the loaves and fish. Drive on to Capernaum and the Mount of Beatitudes. (Possible boat-ride in Lake Tiberias). If time and weather permits, a swim in the Lake before returning to Jerusalem.  Dinner and overnight at Notre Dame Guesthouse in Jerusalem.


Day 5: Old City of Jerusalem

A whole day walking tour in the old city of Jerusalem. We start the tour with a morning blessing from His Beatitude the Patriarch. Continue to visit the sascred places of the ancient city including the Church of St. Anne, the Pool of Bethesda, Ecce Homo and the Palace of Antonia. Walk the “Stations of the Cross” in the Via Dolorosa. Short stop for lunch if desired. After lunch visit the church of The Holy Sepulcher and the Golgotha. Continue to Gloria Guesthouse for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Free day in Jerusalem

Free day for self exploration. Dinner and overnight at Gloria Guesthouse in Jerusalem.


Day 7: Jerusalem – Bethlehem

Coach to Mount of Olives, visit Church of Ascention and Pater Noster, the Lord’s Prayer. Walk down to the Church of Maria Magdalena, to the Garden and Church of Gethsemane, stop on the way to the Church of Dominus Flevit. Visit the church of Mary’s Tomb. Drive towards Bethlehem and make a stop at the Church of the Cross. Drive to Bethlehem to visit the Church of Nativity, St. Catherine and the Shepherd’s field. After your visit, continue to your hotel in Bethlehem for dinner and overnight.


Day 8: Hebron and Al Khader

Visit the Old City of Hebron and observe the evident difficult lives the Palestinians lead while living in a hostile environment surrounded by aggressive Israeli settlers. After visiting the Old City of Hebron, make a stop at the Mosque of Abraham where the tombs of the prophets Abraham, Sara and Isaac are found. Enjoy a traditional Palestinian lunch in Hebron. After lunch visit the Glass Blowing Factories Hebron is famous for. Continue to Al Khader Village where St. George of the Dragon is believed to be from. Return to your hotel in Bethlehem for dinner and overnight.


Day 9: Jericho and the Dead Sea

Early start to visit St. Gerasimos and the baptismal site near Jericho. Continue to visit the Old City of Jericho and Joshua’s tumbling walls. Stop at Hisham’s Palace and the tree of Zaccheus. Hop on the cable car to the Mount of Temptation, and enjoy the panoramic view of Jericho and the starting point of the Dead Sea. Lunch in Jericho. After lunch continue to the Dead Sea to experience the mineral waters (and mud) of this wondrous lake. In the afternoon drive towards Jerusalem making a stop at Bethany for the Tomb of Lazarus and the Church of Mary and Martha. Continue to your hotel in Bethlehem for dinner and overnight.


Day 10: Free morning – PM Jaffa and Lydda – Ben Gurion Airport

Late start today. Drive to Jaffa and visit the Old City with it’s beautiful buildings starting from the Old harbor. Enjoy lunch in Jaffa. Continue to Lydda to visit the Tomb and Mosque of St. George. After a stroll at the beach continue to Ben Gurion Airport for you midnight departure flight back to San Francisco.
